About.

Hello! I’m a front-end developer who has experience as an entrepreneur, designer, and photographer. After designing websites on various platforms for different companies, my curiosity led me to discover the powerful world of writing code.

As my diverse background can show, I am a self-titled “Renaissance Woman”, which essentially means I like to do a little bit of everything - however nothing beats walking in the woods with my two dogs, followed by a craft beer on a sunny patio!

Two websites designed for separate client businesses. BC Makers Collective is a Shopify store that I migrated to 2.0 and created an updated look. The Birth Coaching business was built using Squarespace.

Responsive Websites

These two projects are pixel-perfect renditions of photoshop designs provided by Juno College of Technology. Both are built to be semantically accessible and responsive for all users.

Earthquake Detection

In this group project, we were assigned a client brief, contracted out by the Extraordinary Collective of Superheroes. By utilizing the USGS + Leaflet API's along with Firebase, we created a dashboard app that allows the user to view Earthquakes that happened within the last 24 hours.

Get Planted

Looking for the perfect plant for your needs? I created a Firebase "mini-API" with plant information, gathered from multiple sources that allows the user to choose the right difficulty level, size and sunlight requirements and then returns the best plant for those conditions!

Movie Trivia
